The intro here is all
harmonics. It’s hard to explain, but basically you lightly touch the string
without pushing down on it on the metal fret between the one tabbed out and the one above it (ex- 7* means you touch between
the 7th and 8th frets). It should give you a nice bell
like tone.
Anyhow, Al uses a lot
of delay here, so it’s tough to make out. If it helps, it a Bm-D-A progression
though they never really play the chords during this part.
